NEW SIG Co-ordinator - Bev Davies
I have been teaching English since 1995 and have worked in countries from Spain to Denmark and contexts from Young Learners to Business English. I have been teaching and managing ESOL courses since 2002 and am based in Salford in North-West England. Now, I work for Salford Heritage Services running a cultural engagement project for refugees and asylum seekers and am really interested in the language, culture and citizenship learning opportunities that museums are developing for ESOL learners.

New SIG Website Manager - Caroline Okerika
I'm Caroline Okerika and I've been a member of IATEFL since 2001. I am delighted to be involved with the ESOL SIG and look forward to developing my web skills as I take over from Fiona. I am very interested in the teaching of citizenship in ESOL lessons - so expect to hear more from me on this fascinating matter!

SIG Committee member - Khanh Duc
Khanh Duc works at the University of Kent at Canterbury, having recently moved to the UK after 9 years in Germany. She used to teach English (as a Foreign Language) but has always had a keen interest in ESOL-related issues having been brought up in a country where English is a not a foreign language but rather, a second language. Khanh Duc's main hope for ESOL is that it will receive the same kind of interest that EFL has received and that teachers working in ESOL get the recognition and support that they should be getting.
